The Hinesville Fort Stewart Shrine Club is one of 19 clubs and 20 units working under the Alee Shriners Temple in Savannah, GA. Our membership is primarily comprised of brothers from Hinesville Masonic Lodge #271, Altamaha Lodge #227 in Ludowici, GA, and Landrum Lodge # 48 in Savannah, GA. Our club is also honored to have the Hinesville Fort Stewart Shrine Club Ladies Auxillary. Many of our club members are also members of the Alee Hillbilly Unit, The Iron Knights Motorcycle Unit, The Classic Mobile Unit, The Knights of Mecca, and many other Masonic and Shrine related activities. Many of our members are also associated with many local community organizations whose goal is to improve the quality of life in our community.

The Hinesville Fort Stewart Shrine Club is the only Shrine Club in existence that is affiliated with a military installation or has a military installation in its name. We are honored by this distinction. Our club was named “Club of the Year” for 2016, 2017, & 2018 and “Parade Unit of the Year for 2018. Our Past President for 2017, Tim Hocking, was awarded the Crown of Honor for his accomplishments in 2017. We have also been honored to have two of our club members elected as Potentate of the Alee Shrine Temple, Illustrious Sirs JJ Johns and Albert White.

Our primary goal as Shriners is to provide support to the 22 Shriners Children’s Hospitals in the United States. Our immediate goal as members of the Alee Temple is to provide support to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Greenville, SC and the Shriners Hospital for Children in Tampa, FL. We support these hospitals with various fund raising events throughout the year. We have fun toys (cars, trucks, motorcycles, dune buggies), we act and dress silly, and we have fun, all in efforts to entertain children, raise awareness of our mission, and to make children smile.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Dinner begins at 6:30 pm and our meeting starts at 7:30 pm. Family members are welcome.
